The Calgary West Central Primary Care Network serves a membership of 274 family physicians.
Why Join?
The Calgary West Central Primary Care Network provides many incentives to family physicians who join our membership. This Primary Care Network is aiming to support physicians in delivering quality access to services and coordination of care for their patients through multidisciplinary teams, existing community services, and innovative Primary Care Network programs.
In participating in the Primary Care Network, members may find that they will be compensated for work in their own practice or activities outside, which may not have been the case in the past.
The Primary Care Network has been operational since August 2006. During this time, numerous programs have been implemented and more programs are currently in development for launch in 2009, such as Symptom Checker Program and the Specialist Linkages Program.
There are no costs for membership in the Primary Care Network and participants are able to withdraw their membership at any time.
